I like 'Can't Go Back' it gives me 2003 vibes and 'Take Me In' is alright, but that bridge kills it for me. That being said, I do like how I can hear some Disney (or is it Kingdom Hearts?) song in there and a bit of "Where Is My Mind?" song in there.

I can’t wait to hear the full version of Every Other Weekend.

 

Travis' overplaying on the chorus of "Take Me In" kills it for me. At least open it up on the last chorus to give it some space, man.

 

Wow the studio version of "Can't Go Back" is so good

 

Listened to Take Me In and I dig it. Bridge is slightly weird but I can tell I'm really going to enjoy having this Part 2 on for the foreseeable future. It's also pretty wild how often I still listen to OMT as a whole. It's my go-to airplane album at the moment and I've been traveling a lot. It has not grown stale.

 

Being two days out I am going to wait. So excited for the studio version of Can’t Go Back. From the clip I heard it sounded amazing.

In other news:

 

Can’t Go Back is going to be one of those special Blink deep cuts for me. Just hits me in all the right spots even if it’s not doing anything particularly new or amazing.

 

The beginning of Can’t Go Back sounds like All Systems Go.

 

The delayed riff that Tom is playing during the verse of Can't Go Back is the same riff as Pretty Little Girl, just at a slower tempo :)

As other's have mentioned, a great song and i'd argue one of their best since they reunited.

Can’t go back is great. I only wish it was longer.

To be honest.....I feel like it could be a new BCR song that features Mark.... like Elevator (rad song too).

 

The use of keys in Can’t Go Back is great. They’ve always done those little flourishes well.

 

"Can't Go Back" is just so good.

Is Tom's countermelody in the last chorus saying, "Good to see I can go back?" That would obviously align with the story of the band.

 

Love both songs, but yea that bridge in take me in is a miss.

 

No Fun has really started to click with me. It’s become one of my favorites on the entire album.

 

I was underwhelmed by the pre-chorus and chorus at first, but once I got used to them, they really started to click for me as well. The chorus actually reminds me vaguely of Millencolin or something.

 

Missed this earlier, but looks like people who bought VIP tickets are getting a special item in the mail...

Not sure how I feel about that blink bunny variant, but it sure is an interesting idea.

 

I am a person who initially thought the pink vinyl version artwork should’ve been the digital/portait version. I held off buying the vinyl bc of this.

However, now I think the album art should be the pink/black smiley with their adult portrait's on the backside with the track listing and album title.

 

Can’t Go Back is definitely my favorite track on Part 2.

The rest is of varying quality but it’s mostly enjoyable and at the end of the day it’s all way better than California Deluxe.

I wish the choruses of If I’d Never Left were all as fast as the last one!

 

Album is out in NZ. Love it so far!
