Thought I was going to hold out until September 6 to listen as a whole, but I just missed you guys too much. I dig both songs but loving All In My Head a lot. Not up to par with the hitters from OMT but I’m glad we are getting new tunes. I wil likely only listen once and wait for this whole thing to drop.

Also, anyone want to hit me with a Reading performance rip please?! I have a flight home from Alaska next weekend and would love to watch the boys in the sky.

All in my head is the greater of the two but both are b-sidey but still fun as hell. No Fun's intro is too All American Rejects and then turns into an AVA song.

BUT….. Anytime there is new blink... it is a good time

 

Listened to both songs once and don't want to listen to either again until the full thing is out. I liked both of them (and I like how they basically did one Mark song and one Tom song) but they didn't blow me away or anything

Like others have said though I'm just glad we're still getting music from these guys

 

Both of these feel like b-sides to me unfortunately.

"All in my head" is a really cool song, I would take it over a couple of songs on the "real" album. "No Fun" sounds like a lot if ideas glued together, doesn't really work for me.

Anyway they made me listen again to the full album and ,after almost a year since it came out, I can say it is un my Top 3 blink albums after Untitled and Enema.

 

Album is still a no-skip for me. Really satisfied that I can say that a year later and that the novelty didn't wear off.

Also, I just realized that we've gotten new blink every fall for three years straight. 2022 was Edging as a single with the reunion announcement, 2023 was One More Time, this year is the 8 deluxe songs. What a time.

 

I really hope Tom will give us at least one more AvA album in near future and he will finally go full EuroDance in veins of E-rotic and Eiffel65.
Anyways that’s my wish.

 

I don’t know where it lands yet, but the longer it’s out the deeper my love for it gets. It’s a perfect distillation of everyone in the blink camp.

I get that Travis is seizing the opportunity to highlight everything good about the 00’s pop punk gold rush. Would love if he kept producing and highlighted his inclinations for samples and integrating different musical styles with weirder drum parts. Untitled meets transplants on a blink release would be very radical.

 

Please no.

He had this same meet and greet on the entire US tour from June-August. Ranged from $1,000-1,500 USD per show.

 

but what was his connect 4 record? can we get home and away splits?

 

Just a fun fact, I’m reading Lue Elizondo’s book about UAP/UFOS and the first reference to Tom is in page 182. So cool!
