i actually kinda like the first cartoony tour date shirt and the trading cards...

 

mad that the deluxe isn't on there! grr

This is pretty funny, we were interviewed by MTV South America after blink wrapped at Lolla. We have two appearances :30 and 1:20.

 

Love Blink, but they are allergic to making good merch.

agreed. all time band with bottom of the barrel merch. the eagle world tour t is pretty good. my buddy still has the reunion tour shirt that looks airbrushed still and i do love that one.

re: tour plans in the future. I’d be totally fine if they called it after this tour minus fests and one offs and didn’t do a major tour until another album in a couple years. would much prefer them only doing it if it is as celebratory as OMT with years in between vs tom losing interest and bailing. a run with a very different setlist would be cool but very unlikely.

Been jamming Transplants on shuffle lately. Would love another full length or the opportunity to see a show. Kind of wild there are a plethora of songs with Tim and Travis writing together.

 

Having only seen Can’t Go Back twice live, it STILL gets stuck in my head. Can’t wait to hear it on the album. Kinda wild because I tend to gravitate towards the harder blink stuff (MTYK, Turp, Anth 3), but I really like Can’t Go Back from what I remember

 

Having some drinks, watching Lolla, and I realize Tom must be the master of the "pickslide reset" when he's messing up his riffs haha. Also, Aliens Exist would be like a 2/10 if it weren't for Travis drumming... his chops in that song (especially live) are on full display. Love how this band balances the two extremes. Blink for life.

 

Not to get emo… but… Knowing this night was supposed to be spent in the pit - a corn hole throw away from the band with a babysitter all set up, just to have it all erased sucks more and more.

Tom must have been down bad to call off arena shows.

 

I know we don’t know what illness it is, but both Green Day and blink have at least one sick member right now. Hope everyone gets healthy soon.

 

Billie lost his voice at the end of the Philly show. Playing in the rain for 2 and a half hours prolly had something to do with that

 

3 Friday’s in August. When is this deluxe album dropping???? Stoked for Can’t Go Back on streaming.

 

Let’s hope we get more info this week!
