The show was over we survived… what a night. My first blink show was in 1997 at the Nile Theater in Mesa AZ. My cousin took a naive 11 year old whose music taste, sense of humor, fashion “sense,” and desire to work in the music industry was shaped for the rest of my days. My almost 4 year old daughter just had her first concert being blink-182 at Lollapalooza. Words can’t express how cool this kid is. What a show… what a day… and she even got Travis’ stick which she cried about on the long walk back to the hotel because she wanted to give it back…

the only songs they cut where obvious and m+ms. the rest of the set list was the same as its been the entire tour and compared to the 2 stops they played last year there's a nine song difference.

 

The Lolla set was sick

 

There were tickets for 5 dollars on stubhub the day of the Lexington show lol. And they were better seats than the ones I paid 50 for when they went on sale.

 

Watch it while you can.

 

How did they sound? Is it worth a watch compared to other pro-shot sets on YouTube?

 

My biggest take away from last night’s show (yes I was able to stay awake) was just how good Can’t Go Back sounds when it’s not recorded on a phone. Can’t wait to hear the studio version.

 

I'll try and collect my thoughts more later, but WOW what a night.

 

I’m only halfway through, but I think it’s worth watching if you like the band. They sound the way I expect them to. I like hearing the new songs in a pro recording.

 

Late to the party, but this is rad to see as always. Can't wait to get to the new song to hear it in high def.
Still so funny to me seeing Tom playing his guitar so high.

Absolutely.
But I kinda love that they cranked his guitar on the stream, so you can hear all the wrong
notes in high def. Respect.

 

Honestly maybe my standards are too low, but imo Tom sounded really good last night in person. Listening back now, compared to the South America proshots & some of other footage I've seen from this tour, the band sounded super tight.

 

They again said during the Lolla set the deluxe version of one more time is out later this month.

 

Tom definitely has sounded better, wasn’t his strongest night. But I also don’t even care. As long as he’s up there seemingly having a good time I’ll take it every time

 

Tom is absolutely struggling by this point in the tour. He's really going all in on the throat spray and gum. They've done over 100 shows since Coachella and really need a break.

Exactly. I mean they're labeled Crappy Punk Rock for a reason. My favorite band in the world. Gimme all the raw sounding stuff. I love it so much. Makes them feel more human when it's not as perfect sounding live. Always appreciated that about the band.
