Weather is great here at Fenway! Lucked out big time.

Mark came out and flipped us off a little over an hour ago.

 

Didn’t mind Ekkstacy, surprisingly

 

My mom just found this receipt for 6 tickets to Blink from July 2001. My how prices have changed.

Face value for 6 seated tickets to an amphitheater was $72!

 

Blink tickets used to be $1!

 

Pierce the Veil already starting. Wonder if Blink is earlier tonight.

 

That would be great!

Also not a PTV fan at all, but they sound great.

 

On mobile but not if it came through, blink sold out LA, San Diego, Arizona, Vegas and made over $15M from those shows.

On track to be their highest grossing tour of all time.

Well yeah, considering tickets are like double the price they used to be. Ha

 

Which “surprise songs” did Fenway get tonight?

 

Seeing them tomorrow in Hartford! Hopefully it'll be a better experience than last year at Adjacent Fest.

They were great at adjacent

 

Tbh Obvious is my least favorite song on self-titled, and this tour is making me sick of it lmao. The fact that they rehearsed 40+ songs for this tour but are sticking to that one every night is bonkers to me.

 

Obvious is a good song. They should keep playing it.

 

Respectfully, that chorus is nails on a chalkboard to me, and has such a boring riff. I like it on the record, but it feels super out of place in a concert environment because there are so many more well-known songs they could play instead thay don't completely kill the momentum of the show.

Violence, Stockholm Syndrome, Reckless Abandon, Dumpweed, & Going Away To College are all crowd pleasers with great sing-along choruses and memorable riffs.

 

Fenway was incredible.

 

Tonight was a good time and very much needed.
I was in one of the second sections on the floor. About an hour into blinks set a couple showed up late behind me. The girlfriend kept counting down to the only song she wanted to hear, and they complained the rest of the time.
…she was waiting for the 30 seconds of There Is. Then they left.

So happy I went tonight. I love this band so much

 

Daughter had a blast and said that Tom and Mark were like a comedy show.

 

Incredible night last night. Perfect weather. Fenway had to have been sold out, place was absolutely packed. The best I ever heard them sound live for sure. Banter was top notch, Mark’s joke about Tom’s mom being a Boston Creame Pie and the Dunkin’ joke were hilarious.

I’m not a Down live fan but the crowd popped when they played it. The last 4 songs before OMT gave the crowd such a rush at the end of the set. Can’t wait to hear the studio version of Can’t Go Back. Surreal hearing WYHSB and There Is.

Great night all around. Happy I spend extra money to see them at Fenway.

 

Only thing that could make this any better is knowing that they bought their tickets at peak demand price

 

The band was great, but I had just been broken up with and was way in the back just bawling my eyes out on the beach lol.
