Tom Delonge Yeti White Strat went up a couple hours ago and still hasn't sold out - they made 500 instead of 300 this time.

 

That's crazy. I thought for sure that one woulda sold out instantly, even at 500.

 

I was tempted and probably would've bit if it came with the custom hard case like the blackout did. Saving up for an eventual Starcaster purchase instead..

 

An official Tom Strat would be a dream, but $1400 before shipping is a big no from me. I'll just stick with my unofficial one that cost me a fraction of that price to make myself haha...

 

Anyone know about the Ultimate/VIP merch stuff if it's given at the show or shipped later?

 

The ultimate gift is a signed poster, given out at the show. The other VIP item is mailed after the tour, apparently.

A MIM white strat for $1400, even a TD model, is so overpriced…and the color is meh.

 

It's not rolled, so if you want to make it easier on yourself, bring a tube.

It really is... but I just figured it would sell out based on crazy fans/eBay flippers alone....

 

It really is insane... especially the fake chrome knob that literally feels like plastic. Blood-boiling. haha.

 

Do you own one? The volume knob doesn't feel like cheap plastic to me if that's what you're referring to.

They're def. slightly "overpriced" but it's 2024 not 2001 anymore and inflation is out of control.

 

No, I just felt a couple at Guitar Center after hearing people on reddit complaining about the knob.

 

This is my faux Delonge guitar. A cool "burgundy mist" color body. Cost me a fraction of the price of the official ones, so why not? haha

so it's more than twice as much for less parts, a little red knob, and a Tom neck mounting plate... sheesh

 

Rosewood fretboard vs maple too, and the TD strat is hardtail - but yeah, did a little add to cart math on the TTS site just now and it appears they only sold 142/500 of the White Yeti guitar yesterday so hopefully they recognize this one was a little overpriced..

 

Seeing these bad boys tomorrow... Kinda bummed I probably won't get "M+Ms" since they played it lastnight, but I'll take whatever!
