I’ve never paid to meet anyone or waited in line to meet anyone, and I don’t think I ever will. Not knocking anyone who does at all, do your thing, it’s just not for me. The famous people or band members I’ve met organically are the kinds of experiences I hold dear. Paying for it or lining up just kind of cheapens it for me personally

 

I did VIP during the first tour with Skiba, and I got a pic with them, sound check and a signed poster for $250.

 

When AVA was on Warped Tour, they had a Modlife meet & greet package for like a billion dollars. There was a big line for it. But Tom was the last one in the line, and he was right next to the merch, which was a separate line (that no one was in), so I just walked up and said hi to him and asked him which shirt I should buy. So he picked out a shirt for me, and I got to meet him for only the price of the shirt. Haha. I cheated the system and feel great about it even still.

 

I don’t think I’ve ever paid for a M&G. Usually a station meet and greet. The best was my first real duty as an intern - Mark and Travis came into our station to promote +44. They played WYHSB acoustic in the studio and I had a headset on that was on Mark’s channel. When he was warming up, he played the Carousel intro and I had to hold everything back not to freak out. Travis also went out on our patio and smoked a J.

 

I accidentally bought “VIP” tickets to their last tour and didn’t participate in anything that came with that.

Instead I got drinks at the bar across the street and walked in 5 minutes before Turnstile

 

I paid VIP one time in my life and the total cost for the show ticket and meet and greet was $75. That was for Taking Back Sunday’s reunion tour.

Got to talk with and ask questions to the guys, mainly talked about Sean and John coming back and then got a photo and signed stuff. It was cool and I’ll never pay for VIP again.

 

Not enough people talking about the new song haha. I really like it. Chewable of pace, lyrics sounds good, Tom is in his happy place, and the drums sound so rad.

 

Kind of where I’m at. I’m only paying extra for better seats or easier access to bathrooms, etc lol

Mildly interesting: realized last night they are playing Bored to Death, Edging & Up All Night back to back to back in the setlist. All lead off singles from different records..

 

Does anyone know set times? Do not want to miss Drain. I am assuming 7 if doors are at 6 but I don’t see the info anywhere.

 

Blink Greatest Hits back in the Billboard Top 200 (#165) this week as the tour kicked back off. Very cool.

 

Orlando had Jxdn 7-7:30, PTV 7:45-8:30 and Blink 9:00-10:30

Really pulling for Carousel on the setlist. Stoked for the flexibility and potential surprises.

I really like the new song. I could hear a massive outro added, I wonder if this is the completed song structure. Big OMT vibe letting it speak for itself as is though.

 

The new song sound so good! I don’t want to listen to it too much before that supposed deluxe edition.

They’re playing Going Away to College tonight in the spot that’s rotated between M+Ms and Carousel so far. Obvious was played earlier
