That is the last article I would have ever expected to see from The Sun. Random

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

People on blinkitalia need to get over Reading 2014. It sucked

    Things have changed.

They need to get over most of the weird shit they post. Has to be a 30-plus-year-old person wishing (at one point) minor children a happy birthday.

Ahh yes, self promotion in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with what you’re posting. Sure fire way to make new fans, and couldn’t possibly annoy people and push them away.

EDIT: Mods working fast this morning.

California is my favorite feel good summertime blink album. Played it front to back on a drive yesterday. The Skilba verse about Marilyn Manson is one of the cheesiest parts in blink history and I love it so much. The Only Thing That Matters is such a bizarre and amazing song. Also it is criminal Left Alone has yet to be played live.

regarding scott interviews, has anyone read that 2010 book by joe shooman? i only got halfway so far but the guy did an in-depth interview with scott. it's worth tracking the e-book if anything.

  7. I listened to California this morning. It's been a very long time. There's some bottom tier stuff on there, but it's a fun listen. I still prefer Nine, easily.

  8. Musician friends! It's been a looong time, but we are finally making a new Chorus members compilation! Original songs, this time around. I'm not sure how many of you still follow the official compilation thread on here, so if you don't follow it, but you'd like to submit a track or two to the comp, check the post here and sub to that thread.

I am firmly in the camp that I like California more, but I am really grateful those two records are in the blink legacy that got us to where we are today.

According to blinkitalia the Turpentine video was scrapped because the band didn't like how it turned out

Guess they're saving it for the deluxe edition of the Blinkumentary

IMO Fell In Love would be the summer single to push based on the style of Edging and OMT and the dominance they had on the radio. Not my favorite, but primed for the masses. Turpentine feels like a die hard favorite that would not have nearly the appeal. Jamming OMT in my rotation again and this record GOES.

This is a damn fine cup of coffee.

"Turpentine" not getting a huge push as a single/video is a remarkable missed opportunity.

Eh, I’m not convinced Turpentine would make sense as a single. A lot better options on the album.

  16. Dance With Me should have been pushed much harder. That song is an ear worm.

Still can't believe they had Anthem pt 3 in them. Fell In Love is still my low point.

Fell In Love probably does the best commercially though out of what’s left

The fade on the opening riff for TERRIFIED on proper speakers / headphones is chef’s kiss. Wild all these years later that put out a song that fits flawlessly on a BCR record from the Blink Camp. Same for the AVA interlude song.

blink takeaways - finish this current tour through November and then blink is done until Summer 2025 (I have PTSD hearing blink and done/break in the same sentence).

26 songs on the setlist - they have 40-50 total they can potentially play

This sounds like Tom being Tom haha. I bet they maybe have 5-10 at max that they’d switch in and out.

    Are You Watching Closely?

Wonder how many of those 25 or 26 are joke songs. Meh

Can only hope for deeper surprises but my guess is they'll have their OMT tour staple setlist of:
    Anthem Pt 3
    DWM
    OMT
    MTYK
    Edging
    Turpentine
    Fuck Face

    Then alternate:
    WWWY/YDKWYG
    Fell in Love/Blink Wave
    Bad News/Other Side

    Fill with typical singles

And then insert 3/4 random but not a stranger to a blink set list from here:
    Dumpweed
    Dysentery Gary
    Don't Leave Me
    Carousel
    Ghost
    Anthem Pt 3
    Man Overboard
    Reckless Abandon
    Aliens Exist
    Josie
    Going Away to College
    Obvious
    Cynical

Festival shows (Lolla/ACL/Euro) will be the typical greatest hits/OMT staples setlist + 1-2 from random list + 1 cover song to keep Tom happy + only 1 from the OMT alternates

Just damn happy I get to see them twice in August in the year 2024.
