22 years ago today, Box Car Racer's album came out. Crazy...

 

Same day as "Open Your Eyes" by Goldfinger, distinctly remembering picking them both up on release day. I was a very happy 13 year old.

idk how or why but Blinkwave was playing at the gym when I walked in this morning over the speakers. Reminded me the majority of OMT songs could be strong radio singles perfect for summer.

 

My show is a little over a month away now. Getting super excited to hear the new songs live, I’ve only heard Edging so far

 

I too remember BCR release day and buying that from Best Buy. Proceeded to go back to my friends house and listen to the whole thing on his cd boombox

 

Wow, I just realized how soon this tour is. I got a notification that I saw them a year ago and I absolutely believe that I need to see blink-182 at least yearly in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

 

My dates not til July or august I believe which feels an eternity away but really isn’t

Wonder what the story is with this and maybe Mark wasn’t feeling well enough to sing it. Dude Ranch was written and recorded by January of 1997 so it wasn’t like they were still “demoing” the song live before they got in the studio to record it.

 

This is really fucking cool. Interestingly, it sounds a lot more natural in Tom's register than it does Mark's

 

Mark's voice has changed a lot, it was so much higher when they recorded Dude Ranch compared to even a couple years later

 

Never thought I'd see "I'm Sorry" live - this is awesome. So rad that new/old footy is still being released in 2024.

 

Has Mark ever sang the Dammit chorus live?
