I was thinking about their Coachella set the other day how it’s crazy that other than Dammit and Edging all the songs they played were made in a 4 year span

 

Since no one else wants to heart or reply to this amazing idea. As a dude who has blink and VW on their mount rushmore of bands. This would be freaking awesome to me. Being a fly on the wall watching Ariel and Tom bouncing off ideas would be insane.

 

Big fan of blink and big fan of vampire weekend but that would be terrible

 

Yeah I do not see how that production would fit blink at all.

I bought one. I have been looking for an excuse to get a starcaster for awhile and my wife will love the pink one on our wall. Win-Win. It says ready to ship which is impressive.

I wasn't sold on these but the more I see them the more I like them - might do paypal pay in 4 or something because I really can't afford it at the moment.

 

These will be in production for a while. If you’re on the fence and want to wait, you’ll have your opportunity. That being said, I’ll pick one up in two weeks.

 

Wow I had to re-read his post 3 times before realizing he mentioned the pink lol. Its been a long day.

 

I went with pink. I almost when with the gold but I realized it would be on my wall next to a champaign gold acoustic so pink seemed to pair with the room better which is a requirement by my wife lol.

 

Bummed it doesn’t have the OG Starcaster headstock. If I get one, i’ll probably put a concentric volume/tone pot on it and a series/parallel switch. Single pickup guitars without tone knobs never did for me.
Love the roasted maple neck and locking tuners though and the fact that he went with a different pickup from the SD Invader.

 

Really? I think the OG Starcaster headstock is super ugly.

I’m glad these have the Strat headstock. I think I will pick one up eventually but torn between white or gold.
