They've been going ham on touring, running themselves into the ground. They're not 22 anymore.

This sucks for the fans who bought tickets though, heartbroken for them. Hopefully they get rescheduled dates.

 

In fairness if you get food poison or a virus at any age like that you’re gonna struggle! Happens when you travel sometimes and it sucks ass.

Very unfortunate. Mark's Twitch and Discord was a great platform to get ask questions directly. He gave thoughtful responses and went above and beyond time and time again.

Was it @Jason Tate that mentioned Ariel Rechtshaid as a producer when we were all talking about who was going to be behind the board on OMT? After listening to the new Vampire Weekend I would love to see how he could put his stamp on a Blink Record in terms of arrangements and overall sound. I am not an in-the-weeds production hound when I listen to records, but all of the individual instruments sound so good on this new VW album. It would be a welcome change to the Feldman / Travis Barker mixes that have been on blink records for a few years. I highly doubt they will move away from Travis and a team of coproducers and engineers on future releases, but it would be sick if they threw a curve ball and tried someone like Ariel in the future.

I was talking about blink with a friend and realized that in less than 10 years the guys went from Dude Ranch to 3 more blink albums, boxcar, 2 Transplants albums, +44 and first AVA. It’s fucking crazy.
