If they ever collab, I hope the song is named "(Taylor's Version) (Feat. Mark Hoppus)"

My hope for the US tour….1:45 set length (only 15 minutes more!) this will give them the chance to add a few songs (Wendy Clear, Josie, Reckless, Don’t Leave Me, etc.) and then switch the order of OMT and Dammit so the show ends on a high note with Dammit. Wishful thinking because I know it won’t happen but fingers crossed.

  3. One more time is fine for a last song but it is a downer after the high that dammit provides.

Maybe this has been discussed before but is there a reason why Mark stopped producing albums for other artists? Spotify randomly played a NFG followed by a MCS song, both from Mark produced albums, and it made me wonder.

My brain is melting over this. My two favorite artists in the world posing for a pic together while they're both on the best tours of their respective careers is just sentimental and awesome to me.:rock:

If I remember correctly I think Mark said in an interview that he would be too expensive to justify him producing and doesn’t really have the time anymore to do it.

  7. What a flex.

  8. Maybe he's just being extra picky these days. I'm sure if the right band came up to him at the right time, he'd do it. Probably that dumb NFT band that he sponsored or whatever, haha.

I think the last thing Mark produced was for the Scottish band "PAWS" but I could be wrong. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago but was probably like 10 years ago.

In July 2015 the band completed their third studio album, No Grace. The album was produced by Mark Hoppus of blink-182. It was released on 17 June 2016.

    Wow! Two things of notes:

    1. I didn't realized OMT had crossed over to other radio formats as well, charting at #13 on Adult Pop radio, and #27 on Adult Contemporary Radio (where Taylor Swift is currently #1).
    2. They're at ~250k equivalent album units to date, essentially doubling their total sales/streams since release week

I had fully belie bed they were going to take a long break after the 2023 shows. Now I fully believe they are going to ride this momentum wave. 2025 shows, start writing a new one, who knows.

If I were to bet I would have to think after the 2024 summer tour they take a break until January and then head back into the studio for a fall 2025 release followed by another big tour in 2026. Maybe do some summer festival shows in the meantime in 2025.
