An owner of a local guitar shop is saying that the Tom starcasters are gonna be shipping to stores in April, and that they'll be priced at $1,199.

Definitely gonna wanna snag one. Will use these next 2 months to go back and forth deciding on either a white or pink one lol

 

White or Gold for me. Probably the gold one bc I have a white Billie Joe Armstrong Junior.

Don't think we'll ever get it, and not that it's any of our business, but I'd love an in-depth interview from one of them that touches on the conversations around reuniting. From the initial idea to how it was going to work, scheduling, priorities, etc. to them agreeing to do it.

I know it's been briefly touched on in a few interviews (Zane, Toby Morse, etc.) but it'd be cool to hear how it all played out in detail.

 

Just watched Mark's live of Perth Night 2, he went up to Rise Against and asked if Perth night 1 was weird for them too lmao

"Yeah our show last night was good too, it wasn't weird AT ALL" sarcastically lol

Those are the ones I was debating, too. White guitars are always my go-to, so I'm sure I'll go white.
And I hate that MGK ruined pink for me, because that's all I can think about.

 

HA honestly I'm also leaning away from the pink one because I don't want people thinking its an MGK guitar.
But to be fair Tom's is more of a peach color, not hot pink. I'll have to see them in person to decide!

to immediately preorder when it's announced. haha!

 

Trying to have self control after picking up the TD Strat but also kinda want the Starcaster. I would probably get white and try to re-create the sticker caster.

 

I just couldn't get into the reissues... they just felt cheap this time. Plus the Starcaster will feel like a brand new guitar I've never had before. I'm really looking forward to it.

 

I have an OG surf green but I got the graffiti yellow this time - I figured I can play the new one and keep the OG as mint as possible...

 

Smart man... I wish I still had my OG Yellow one... one of my biggest gear regrets.

 

Once I get this Starcaster my next guitar splurge/project will be trying to build the strat from scratch

 

That snip of Rubin's interview of Travis made me so happy to hear how much of a blink fanboy Travis is. Considering his nonchalant demeanor all the time, I'm glad to hear he's one of the "we've gotta do this" type of guys.

 

Somehow never saw this before. One of my favorite Strung Out songs (and a "newer" one at that) so it's pretty cool knowing that Travis was familiar with it and pulled it off with them.

 

Man Rick Rubin has such a commanding voice and demeanor. Love all his interviews. This was a rad one for sure.

 

Random thought of the day: it’s time for another live album.

 

Was funny on the second Melbourne night, I was in the seats with some friends next to a mother (40's) and her teenage son who were both clearly very casual fans.

All good, and I love that people no matter how much they love Blink can go to the shows and enjoy, and they had a good time, but the mum was very concerned/confused about the visuals on-screen behind the band throughout the show.

She watched Dance With Me through hands over her eyes when the gigantic hand and banana came on-screen for a good 30 seconds. Her boy was just laughing. It was very joyous and awesome.

 

Would love a live 4K DVD interspersed with interviews/backstage, etc. similar to Bullet In A Bible.

 

Blinkumentary

 

I’m not a fan of having the documentary part cut into the live material. Keep them separate, please.

 

Give me a “day in the life” type movie. Follow the band the whole morning of a show and the lead up, then give me the full show

 

All I want is an ending akin to The Urethra Chronicles II, but modern and what they've learned over the years then make the credits song One More Time.

Make me cry plz Blink.
