Personally very stoked to see Fuck Face on there ( likely in the minority). I wonder if it's Travis and Tom trading vocals or if Tom does all of it.
I would take Ghost over Up All Night. Great setlist. It shows a lot of confidence in the new songs to have 3 in a row right in the middle of the set.

 

Dying to hear Marks bridge

 

Fingers crossed there will be full videos dropping later today. It's 2am in AUS.

 

Tom sounds good. Mark needs to do those chorus harmonies, though. And sing his big bridge payoff!

 

Checked out the live videos. The crowd is eating up the new songs. As much as I would have loved to see Turnstile I am excited to see a show this summer with all of the new songs in the setlist.

 

Is it just me, or does everyone get stupid and emotional during "Anthem Part 3"???

Very happy Anthem 3 lives up to the hype and power surrounding its predecessors.

 

Italia put up the Fuck Face Clip. The sound was off but this is going to be a super cool moment in the set every night. So happy they put this song on the record.

 

Is the pit assigned seating? It's wild to see so many static people during a song like this.

Said in the other thread, but I was there and definitely felt like a few of the new songs didn't really hit with the crowd. But on the whole, super fun show and I get to do it again from up front tonight.

 

Anthem Part 3 sounds good but will sound great as Tom gets better at singing it, but Turpentine sounds great right out of the gate

I really hope the lack of stage production for them doesn't mean they consider these songs expendable

 

Could just be me but the boys seemed a little lukewarm with the crowd reaction to the new songs haha.

How does Mark pass up on singing whats arguably the best part of Anthem Part 3?!

I hope they eventually play Fell In Love, Bad News, and Terrified too.

 

Dont know what yall see in those crowds... They looked bored stiff to me, which is insane considering the band hasnt been there proper in 20 years.

That said, Turpentine rips, and Anthem is gonna go off with crowds that care once they get back here!

 

Aus reaction to the new songs is gonna have Mark lock in the Greatest Hits setlist for life.

 

It seems like they're about to release a music video for Turpentine. If they're gonna push it as a single I think it's safe in the set for now.

 

Funny too when I first heard Turpentine I was thinking what a shame they'll probably never play it live because of how complicated the song structure is. Not only was I wrong, it also sounded really tight!

 

Anyone know the song/band that Mark is listening to at 2:50 in that video? Can’t quite make out the lyrics to look it up.
