I think someone already floated this idea but if AK3 hops on the Denver date of the blink tour I will throw up. There is definitely an open break in the Alkaline schedule while the blink tour will be in full swing. Seems unlikely but they had a rotating door of openers last summer.

I remember someone mentioned in this thread that for the stadium shows (LA, NYC, Boston) there was talks of adding another big name support to boost sales.
I could picture Alkaline Trio (or NFG) in those spots.

Last Trio post in the blink thread. This album got me wondering what a Skiba Blink album would have been like with a different producer/crew of cowriters. More pure Skiba influence would have been pretty cool to hear. They said they scrapped all the pre-Feldman stuff because it sounded like Trio Meets Blink. I get why they wouldn't lead with that and why Californian was the right move, but I think it would have been cool to have gotten that at some point.

Trio will be in Europe when blink is in NY and Boston but I’d be down for NFG.

    What about Good Charlotte?

I was going guess Taking Back Sunday for NYC 7/21 but don’t know if that interferes for 8/17 Pier 17 radius clause.

New album & I Wanna Be A Warhol from MSIT leads me to think it would have been a lot like the +44 follow up we never got, which would have been awesome.

Not sure if it was already mentioned, but ATST surpassed a billion streams on Spotify recently.

I do wish that Fell In Love had some Cure
Ish guitar riff intro like Automatic or Rest Of My Life from Less Than Jake…I can totally hear it there and it’s just….not there.

    love the song regardless

Anybody hear anything further on the Starcaster from the NAMM show this weekend?
Cuz it's been crickets on my end, with everything I've searched. Thought for sure there
    would be something official announced.

I could be mistaken but I don't think Fender did anything at NAMM this year.

I was at NAMM and when I did get to leave the booth and head over to the instrument hall, Fender was nowhere to be found. From what I heard, it's looking like a Summer/Fall release for the Starcaster if all goes according to plan.

Tom and Travis were also very not stoked about touring. I believe they said the studio forced them to go on a lengthy tour.

I remember being so stoked on a very minimal-chanced BCR reunion tour a couple years ago when they were rumored to release a new song. I never got to see them in 01 as I was too young. Very happy we got Terrified and I'm happy it's labeled as blink. I can only imagine how much it would get shit on being released as BCR.

    Are You Watching Closely?

That BCR show is the most smashed/squished I've ever been in my entire life at a show.... bar none. I was 16 and had my 14 year old brother with me and Dad in the balcony... Bert puking everywhere, my intro to H20.... and 2/3 of my favorite band just a few feet away

I too was squished in the crowd for that BCR tour as a freshman in high school. The friend that attended with me didn’t really listen to music and ended up disappearing in the crowd to engage in hand stuff with another girl in the crowd. I couldn’t be bothered as my eyes were locked on Travis & Tom haha

  24. I don't remember being too squished in their crowd. But I got their setlist after the show. But I think one of my old high school friends stole it haha.

Was it really that lengthy? I think they only toured for like 2 months
