Zane interview was great. Loved their explanation of the album rollout. Jerry finn stuff was great. Glad they talked a bit about skiba. I know people in here don't like those albums but I think as blink fans we should appreciate that he stepped in and kept mark engaged with blink.

 

I've looked high and low on the dark web and have failed miserably to find it...

Okay I lied before…

Just had my first listen on vinyl and gonna watch the Zane interview now.

Holy fuck, everything I wanted from a blink record in 2023. I recorded some first impressions and will try to post a cringey reaction video tomorrow for y’all.

 

I know there is an album thread but there is too much to catch up on there for now and I'm too lazy tonight...

Having listened to the whole thing now I will say this: Wow, what a ride. The whole thing felt so special. I had chills almost the whole time. The boys are definitely back. If TOYPAJ had sex with untiled and had a baby.... One More Time .

I don't smoke, but I think I need a cigarette haha.

instead of saying anything negative about that album I will say Turpentine and Bad News are sick. Bad News gives me Joyce Manor vibes. Love the energy from Mark. I think those are the best contributions from either of them on the album and I wish all the songs sounded like that

i know the lyrics in the lyric videos/printed have been questioned already but WWWY's chorus looking like an unfinished guess-timation on Genius waiting for someone else to come and finish the lyrics they can't make out for them

Man, I was gonna wait one more day, but if these are good quality, a PM would be welcomed at this point. That interview was amazing. And I dunno what people were griping about Zane before. First interview Ive watched of his and I thought he was wonderful and appeared genuine to me

What's with the abrupt overlap of Tom singing "When we were young" in the chorus? It's like there's a beat missing. But then in the final chorus it settles down, adds the beat I've been missing, and sounds like how my ears expect it to be? Is it just me? Maybe it's just the leaked version? I love the song, but my OCD is having a hard time overcoming the "glitchy" feel of those first few choruses.

it's certainly a choice, but yeah the first couple choruses have a 7/8 time signature whereas the last one has a very typical 4/4 (or 8/8 if you will) signature. i think it's cool but def caught me off a bit on first listen
