First Time, Runaway, Cynical, Go, Easy Target are all little power-houses that clock in under 2:30

 

With Travis producing and being more in touch with younger artists through his zillion other collaborations, I don't think it's a huge leap to make.

Well, the thing is, both songs are just fine.

 

That was my initial thought too about the lyrics to new song I wonder if it is about his new wife etc

 

I take BIOMY any day

 

I’ll just listen to both when I listen to their respective albums.

 

I don't think you can even compare BIOMY with Fell In Love - two different songs IMHO.

You can actually compare anything.

 

Fell in Love is fine. Not really what I want blink to sound like, but that’s okay. The chorus is pretty catchy.

 

Maybe Tom will sound like himself when this song is played live

 

If they play it live at all.

 

I would love blink-182 to do a BBC Studio appearance with playing one of the singles and a cover.
They are in UK now, so let's keep fingers crossed for some ad-hoc live performances.

And I hope Jimmy Kimmel won't forget about the band this time, when the album is out.

Just heard the new song, if it’s the worst non joke song on the album then this has serious potential to be a top 5 blink album behind Dude Ranch, Enema, TOYPAJ and Untitled for me. Which was my hope when they first announced they were getting back together again.

 

I caved and hit play on the song that's linked on Reddit. But two lines into the first verse I stopped it because the sound quality is pretty awful. I'd rather hear it in better quality the first time.

i love a good 2:20 or less, all killer punk/pop punk song so i don't even really mind the "tik tok trend" of shorter songs nowadays haha

cool pop punk band neverknowsbest does a lot of songs under 2:30 and I'm sure no one in the band has done an embarrassing amount of posting about blink-182 on Jason Tate forums since 2006, that would be wild behavior

 

The advantage of living in a small city and being a very good costumer of my local record store is being able to purchase the new album as soon as they receive it :)

 

Did I see someone say earlier that Fell In Love sounds like The Cure? Because I... don't hear that at all? haha
