For sure the weakest song so far, but I enjoy it enough that i won't skip it. Almost wish it was a little longer.

I like it. If this is the weakest on the album, I’m pretty sure I’m gonna love the album a lot.

I agree with the comment about the "ad jingle" vibe. I'd actually take a full cover of "Close To Me" instead of a sample that bastardizes it during an original song.

This has that cut and paste, plastic aesthetic (with even more vapid, lifeless lyrics) which permeated the worst stuff on California. First miss for me. I liked "Edging" and loved the other three. Here's hoping it is the lowest low, even including the joke tracks.

Based on my first listens, there's actually nothing on the non-deluxe California, on Nine or even Lifeforms I dislike this much. For now, probably among my top 10 least favorite blink songs.

People not loving that this is a pop song I guess. Very fun, love it.

Is the new song on streaming platforms yet? I only found it on Reddit. It's not on YT Music anyways

Feel like this song and You Don't Know What You Got will be two songs that I end up skipping in a couple months down the line

Also, wasn't Mark very particular about his grammar? Wondering how he allowed "you don't know what you got".

(This is just based on the song clips we heard from the Stall)

my ranking so far from greatness to great:

    more than you know
dance with me (edited out tom’s intro on my mp3)
    one more time
    edging

hot take: i’m not a fan of the overusage of jokes on their albums. i had a hard time listening to the mark tom trav show for dumb stuff that either i liked but wore itself out, or would be embarrassing if someone else was in the car with me listening.

Curious if there's anybody that hated Blame It On My Youth but loves Fell In Love, because if so BIG time side eye

Definitely having the same "let down" feelings for both songs. I remember when BIOMY was released and I was trying to hype myself up on it and it just fell flat. Same with this new song.

To be fair though, I've only listened to this new song once. We'll see how well it pairs with the album overall. It's a short and sweet fun song, just not hitting me like the others.

There are more than 10 worse blink songs released before 1997 alone.

It's the opposite for me. I love "Blame It On My Youth". The synth is so MCS-like and that chorus is gold. It's simultaneously nostalgic and forward-thinking for a blink song.

Honestly, hard to compare years of album listens and one listen, but probably about the same level to me.

Yeah they're about the same to me, definitely think I like Youth more. But it always needs the context of the album before final judgment. Not crazy about Fell but if it's the weakest full song like Jason says that's a good sign.

What if I love Blame It on My Youth but Fell In love didn’t hit it for me?

That makes sense to me lol. My point is just that the two songs aren't that much different, and people trashed Youth a lot and I wonder how much of that was just Tom bias
