Did a playthrough on the released songs this morning. I am so happy with what we have gotten and so excited to get this whole record in a week and a half—I love the mix, particularly on drums. EDGNIG was definitely the right choice for a comeback song. I think the songs sound stronger as a batch than individually which rules. Hadn't listened to MTYK in a few days and it RIPS. So hyped we have a good 10 or so songs we haven't heard a second of for the release.

I remember when they got back together in round 1 Tom was blasting the Clash and U2 before shows. Now he is playing the punk classics. It shows in the new songs he is having a blast being a punker again.

So, TERRIFIED is the re-worked BCR song. Can’t wait to hear it.

 

Also one of the Tom only songs, interested to hear what they cooked up and I wonder how much it's changed in the past few years since Tom and Travis started.

More than you know has grown on me something fierce. It was the one that I liked the most out of all the releases but I didn’t like it enough to put it on repeat. Now…I can’t stop playing it. Tom is special.

 

MTYK is my favorite so far. I've gotten a little tired of Dance With Me at the moment. I played it a lot to be fair.

When I was listening to all four songs, at first Edging kinda stuck out to me as not fitting but it's sort of grown on me again

 

I just wanna put out there that it's kind of crazy that this album is real and on its way. Think about where we were a year ago. So wild I once thought Tom and Blink were totally done.

Amazing times we're living in (at least in the music world). Elsewhere it's all ablaze, but it feels soooooo damn good to be a Blink-182 fan these days. Never thought we'd be here this excited for them again. Feels surreal.

i think with this one i might be able to hold off until the rest of the album is out
excited though with this apparently sounding like the Cure/Close To Me-ish. i always adore when blink do new wave type stuff. Automatic was my favorite Tom song in years (maybe until Dance With Me)
