there's no way anyone hates this record. i just played it and i swear everyone is fucking with me.

 

Idk if blink has a chance at number one two weeks after a Drake album. Wasn't Drake one for like 9 weeks before Cali knocked it off?

 

Blink also took down Drake from the top spot when California came out and Tom wasn’t even in the band.

 

I know that's what I said lol.

But Jason has said he doesn't expect it to match Cali and a Drake record in only it's third week of streaming is tough to compete with.

 

They really only have one week to get it done, Taylor Swift comes out Oct 27th.

tbh, I don’t hate it. But that doesn’t mean it’s good. I see the potential there. I only listen to it on full discography runs.

I don’t think it’s worth putting them against each other. I wouldn’t waste my time defending either one.

Both don’t sound good. Both have a few songs worth listening to. Both have a lot of songs that could be wiped off the internet and it wouldn’t matter.

 

Looked/sounded live to me. Can anyone confirm? I’m thinking he has a decent voice and is calm enough live to sound good.

 

I feel like Dance With Me should’ve been the first song released haha. Do we know if the song was even finished when Edging was finished?

Also, why are are the song titles capitalized?

 

Listened to the new song on headphones and I really like them, but in almost every chorus the cymbals are so goddamn loud that the guitar becomes merely a suggestion.

Also whoever said Edging sounds different on the album I do agree with. It sounds markedly worse now with notable clipping in the chorus.

Turnstile didn’t start it, it’s been trendy for a minute. That and all undercase lol

 

I prefer all caps to lowercase all the way, for song titles at least.

Yeah, it’s not so egregious that it ruins the song for me, but I definitely notice a couple of parts in that song that clip. The bridge is mainly pushed the hardest and feels like it ducks out a little bit.

 

I love when people are so matter of fact about something completely subjective. Like I’m supposed to see your comments and think - “oh Kibbles said it wasn’t good? You know what, he’s right.”

 

You asked why it was hard to watch and I responded. If you think that’s good I mean good for you.

 

I'm not expecting the movie to be good. But good on Tom for making a fucking movie.

 

It’s just humorous, there’s always one. Everyone is like oh wow this is a cool moment, and then there is Kibbles to say “yikes, better not play it at WWWY! Be more punk!”
