i don't know if it's the same but EOWYG is my favourite fall out boy record by miles. i don't see how anyone can dislike it.

If this song doesn't become a theme song for some major league team, sport, commercial, etc....someone is doing it wrong.

I’m 20 mins in, thoroughly stoned and really enjoying this…The main dude has a Spitfire neck tattoo & his friend rocking the Independent trucks t-shirt.

Chris Cote’s son/Tom’s step-son? Is the younger brother in the family kitchen table scene too, he has a funny moment but no dialogue.

 

Dance With Me is sooooo catchy. Loved the energy in the crowd singing along.

Would love to have them tour again in the US for the album. The nostalgia for Tom singing in blink again and then his take on a few Skiba era songs was cool with the first leg but now we need to hear more of the new tracks live.

 

i'm serious. what is the difference between EOWYG and dude ranch? both early records from great bands so why can't it be my favourite?

 

One's really good, the other the band hates so much they wish they could erase from existence (and it's really bad)?

 

I'm just impressed the cow could hold a pen.

Okay, 1hr in to Monsters of CA and it’s starting to drag a little bit but I’ve seen much worse!

There’s already been at least two AVA Lifeforms needle drops mostly instrumental versions of No More Guns & Automatic and Tom’s solo songs getting some shine too.

The score itself is also really good.

 

Richard Kind is great.

 

the movie is so so bad. Acting is very bad. The writing was so bad. But like, I love that Tom is doing his thing.

It wasn’t good at all….

 

It would be more fair to compare EOWYG to Buddha or Cheshire. It’s not really that good. But you can see the potential in a few songs.

 

Dance with me wasn’t out when they played here but kinda bummed they didn’t play OMT from the start. Oh well.

trading reckless abandon with more than you know I’m fine with them having played reckless abandon here. Especially since I had never heard it live.

I think I would rather take Violence/ghosts/down from the set list and put the new songs in.
