I think I'm just thrown by the vocals on OMT (lyrics are great tho). The robotic sound of Tom's voice is really bizarre, it's def a choice.

Where is this from? Love seeing Tim Armstrong on there! Assuming the Aaron Rubin songs are heavier in Tom parts.

I'm going to jam them in the car on the way home from work and then I'm going to give them a bit of a break. If not, I'll be sick of them by tomorrow. haha.

The Robert Smith and Tim Armstrong credits are likely for lyrical references or musical interpolation.

The only OMT video reference that I missed was the Rock Show one. I think because in the video they're all crammed together. The only addition I would have made was the TRL Feeling This performance on the roof. I watched that live and it melted my brain at the time. When I saw the green screen teases I was pretty neutral, but that video is super rad.

I couldn't focus on all of the backgrounds in the music video because it just went by too fast, NOT because my tears were getting in the way. Definitely NOT the latter.

I thought it was "Laugh lines/across my face" in MTYK chorus, and I like that better than "black lights" haha

While we're talking misheard lyrics it also kinda sounds like Mark says: "The ivy is starting to queef, it grows through the awnings" but the 2nd half of that line makes you realize it's creep, lol.

I didn't catch the Untitled SD house until several rewatches in. I thought it was a room from Up All Night at first... but the early 2000's TV and the drum dampening "poles"/whatever the fuck their called brought me back

I also thought the untitled house was the up all night one. Which is funny given the amount of times I have watched that documentary and the cheetah videos

If I didn't torch friendship bridges based on political differences then, well, One More Time would possibly make me interested in making amends.

lmao i read this post like 5x because i thought you were saying that you'd like the song if it didnt touch on political differences and i was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaat song are you listening to
