I mean to be fair, the 6/2 stuff was never meant to be seen. Then, it's not even 12pm PST yet for the 9/5 thing and "closed for maintenance" could also mean that the site is going down to show new album stuff later this week. We all came up with the "new song" tease in our own heads for 9/5 when in reality it's saying the site is down. Would love to be wrong on this.

So those without those two teases, I don't see an issue.

 

It doesn't NEED to go down. It would clearly be designed to go down to build anticipation.

Not discrediting that portion, like I said - the Edging and tour on-sale was very well done. It's just everything since when looking at an album that was slated originally for Spring/Summer 2023 (and still says that on the merch site). Then creating a very easy and obvious easter egg of a song release date... in which nothing happened. Having a nice gap between US and UK dates to get some momentum behind a song/video and then dropping a "stay tuned" tease weeks ago... with nothing but a 9/5 teaser on the stall since then... I mean it could all shift/change within a notice of them doing something and I could be critiquing over nothing but it has certainly felt disjointed on the album front.

 

Hour 12, no update to the stall. Supplies are dwindling

 

I think it’s reasonable to be bummed if nothing happens today based on the 9/5 date and also not go full on Joker like reddit haha

At least I know whenever they release new music, it’ll be added to my Apple Music since I pre-saved in February haha

I think nobody outside this forum really cares about the stall. Only 20 people visit that website 2345 times a day each.

 

Still have hope until tomorrow. A health emergency wouldn’t effect a single release like it would a tour obviously.

They don't on the album side - it's just maddening though.

I do think the EU fans are owed a bit more than how the show cancellation/postponement is being handled though. I couldn't imagine having travel plans/tickets for a show and being this in the dark about the shows happening or not.

 

Ya I live in Canada and almost bought tickets to the Belfast show, I would have been gutted.
