The Edging theme is real

 

Not sure we need to start panicking yet. Something will happen today. Whether the site goes down or is updated or whatever else, I don't think they would have specified 9/5 if nothing was going to happen at all.

 

Maybe they forgot... haha

 

I love this band

 

They are my favorite band, but they've also got to be one of the most disorganized bands out there. The wait continues.....

 

3 different managers, no evidence of any sort of PR, disconnected marketing or complete lack thereof at times (although the Edging/tour on-sale roll out was great).... just hire me guys.

 

I like how people are assuming that the band has "no idea", "forgot", is "disorganized"... Oh wait, no I dont. That shit's annoying. Remember when they dropped Edging, the video, the website, a 2 year world-wide tour info and all that out of no where? Have faith fellas. Don't let internet trolls get your destroy your hope.

Wasn’t really out of nowhere. They teased Edging early in the week with the tour announcement. 182industries ads and street stuff for the couple weeks prior. Radio DJs and rumors leaked the tour months beforehand, etc. this was all a year+ ago too-nothing since, so I can see why people don’t have hope/just want something to be excited for lol. I think if the site updates today it’ll just be another teaser

 

To be clear, I don't think they ACTUALLY forgot. I was just kidding haha.

 

I was only half joking. They are just a complicated band with a lot of moving parts and trying to get individual schedules to line up. I still think something will happen today. At least the site will go down for a period of time.

 

Whether it’s disorganized or not, it just always comes off as disorganized haha

 

Why does the site even need to go down? Is this 2002?

Oh i agree. It's a strange strategy. I think they've over teased at this point.

 

Seem plenty organized to me when they are ready to actually announce things. I don't think anyone expected a health emergency to throw off tour plans.

California was their best rollout since TOYPAJ

 

Don't disagree there... but maybe they should stop with the teasing things strategy. Seems to have not worked out well as of late.
