I'll be busy refreshing the stall but I'm down. I would say let's pick a random album, but who is going to trust that it's really random? Neighborhoods could be a fun one to listen along to with everyone seeing as it's polarizing.

  2. Let's do it!

Neighborhoods at 9 AM MST (unless/until something new happens)

Best song on the album is up first.

    (And no stall update yet)

  5. "Ghost on the Dance Floor" rules. I've always liked this one quite a bit. Watching videos of them playing it on their current tour, it comes across as being one of the night's biggest highlights. They kill it.

Ghost sounded very good live on this tour, but 99% of the crowd in Toronto had no idea what it was and weren’t into it lol

I’ve just had blink of shuffle the last few days. Normally I’m a full album guy, but I’ve just been loving bouncing around the whole discography

  8. "Natives" is whatever. Never been much of a fan of it. It's fast but sounds like it has no energy. It's weird.

The bass line in the first verse of Up All Night is fantastic. I also remember not knowing whether Mark or Tom was singing during the verses the first time I heard it.

  10. "Up All Night" still spanks. I wish it had Box Car Racer style production though. Quieter verses and then louder choruses to make them sound even more huge. And I wish the outro had a couple more seconds of fade out before it comes back in with the riff.

  11. I wish "After Midnight" was just a couple BPMs faster to give it just a tiny bit more energy. But overall, I still love this song. I really like the bridge.

I feel like the reaction was muted at both NYC shows too which sucks because that is exactly why Mark refuses to budge from his "no deep cuts" stance.

  13. The bridge to "Snake Charmer" is my favorite moment of this whole album. Catchy chorus and cool intro riff too.

The deeper into this album we get, the more it feels like every song is from a different album. The cohesion just isn't there for me, but I know that's been talked about ad nauseam. The best analogy I can use for this album is the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

They played Wasting Time on the tour with Lil Wayne in 2019 (acoustic though).
I've seen Blink something like 16 times from 2000 to 2023, and I've only seen 3 Cheshire songs live. That's probably the best I'll do at this point

  16. The "HAG interlude" is too long and boring

Agree, but would love to hear the "slow version" of Hearts All Gone that it was originally created as.

  19. "Hearts All Gone" is a top 5 Neighborhoods song. This is the "Go" of Neighborhoods. Travis' drumming is insane. Especially in the last half of the song. That last chorus is bonkers. So far, this and "Snake Charmer" are the only songs that really have any real energy which is really odd for a Blink-182 album.

    Things have changed.

"Heart's All Gone" is really good but is missing .... anything from Tom. A nice riff and it would have been really top tier.

When Tom originally played the Wishing Well riff on a modlife stream, I was really expecting it to turn out as a better song.

  23. "Wishing Well" is great. I wish the chorus was played a little more energetic on the guitar. Like instead of the held out chords, play 8th notes.

  24. Yeah, I have a feeling that's all just Mark and Travis playing that song.

  25. Not a big fan of "Kaleidoscope." The verses and choruses are both kinda just mediocre for them. I'd say it's mid tier on this album though.
