Yep, except for the Untitled era when the single came in October and album in November. Which now that I look back on it is really odd.....I feel like Blink music is synonymous with Summer.

Those drums sounded programmed and temp. At least the full did. I’d say they’re not mixed or mastering yet. But I don’t know.

 

It leaked while I was on my honeymoon in September. Neighborhoods reminds me of driving around Kauai at night in the rain.

Yeah I think it had more to do with the band taking their time making the record and not hitting their original summer deadline like previous albums. They still toured during the holiday season in 2003, had a quick 2 month European tour to start the year then had a big US tour and ended the year overseas.

 

Neighborhoods was originally suppose to come out in the summer either before or shortly after they started their Neighborhoods tour but they kept pushing the deadline back because of the recording process. They even had to cancel a short European tour at the beginning of spring to finish the album. But yeah Up All Night was released in the spring and the actual album dropped in I believe September.

 

Feeling This (titled "Action") did come out in summer 2003. It was on the Madden NFL 2004 game soundtrack.

 

The album came out in September, but they still promoted it with a summer US tour.

 

Yeah, that clip is like a blend of "Bored To Death" and "After Midnight." Hopefully it turns out awesome.

 

I don’t need this album any sooner than June. Give me summer blink all day, I don’t need new blink in March/April/May. Those months all just muddy, raining nonsense (in New England).

California was a solid roll out!

 

Though a single before June would be a nice teaser of summer while I’m shoveling snow! Ugh.

Sorry to go off topic, but I really love Dogs Eating Dogs EP. That got me so pumped for the next full length with Tom. Shame it never happened. I also dig California alot.
