i've read this "Tom leave when you wanna" a lot but i just never hear it.. the low quality of the footage from those shows never helps but i've always just heard "and i'll leave when i wanna". the d of the "and i'll" sounds really pronounced in the videos which is probably what i'm guessing sounds like "Tom" to some

 

I'm always skeptical of things like this but that clearly sounded like "Tom" to me

 

Sounds like Tom to me too.

 

I'm not hearing it, it sounds like he's just rushing "and-I" together during the chorus, so it phonetically comes out as "an-DAW leave"

I could've sworn mark did that at a few shows during that tour too

 

Not sure if this violates forum rules or whatever, but I recorded a blink/Counting Crows mashup and thought this may be a good place to share.

 

A one off performance headlining Riot Fest is my #1 wish for the 2021 festival season.

I wonder if a BCR reunion show would cause problems with Mark and Travis

I feel like he's probably long past that by now

 

Eh Mark was singing along with I Feel So in that album launch commentary he did. Seems past it lol

Wait a minute... BCR was 2002. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here!

 

Yeah, I think he misunderstood someone telling him, "Hey, it's the 20 year anniversary of BCR next year". The band was 2001 apparently and the album was 2002.

 

Did mark have drama with bcr? Didn't he do vocals on a track?

 

Only enough of a problem with it to cause the band to break up at their peak... but besides that, naw, not really any issues

 

Did he say so or is this speculation?

 

Mark has said it made him jealous and feel weird and things weren’t the same after BCR. It likely played into the breakup a little but still seems clear that more than at least 90% of the first breakup is on Tom’s shoulders

Crazy didn't know that. I guess he just wanted tom to make blink his priority.

 

This is what never made sense to me... lol
