I can see the Happy Days placement being a little odd (though I don’t personally have any issue with it), but the last two make complete sense to me. Ending on a slow, acoustic track with a big, explosive ending is a very standard move, and Grenade being between in between moodier, darker tracks just seems fitting.

I get musically why RTFM is where it is, it's a basic ballady closer, but it's such a downer and isn't really a satisfying ending.

I feel like 'Darkside' or 'I Really Wish I Hated You" are the thesis statements of this album, which is (let's face it) a break up album, so they should go last.

I like the sequencing of the album as is.

Would’ve been pretty dope if they made
On Some Emo Shit the final track and titled it “The Last Time”

I feel like “hated you” would be a terrible closer, but that’s just me.

  9. 333 GANG

Agreed. Doesn’t sound like a closer in the least.

To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere

I was skeptical going in, but this album is amazing and I can’t stop listening. Heaven is my favorite song right now

The closer is obviously perfect, and that song fits nowhere else on this album. But if I was to play “which other song could have worked as a closer if Remember to Forgot Me wasn’t on the album” I would say On Some Emo Shit could work.

Picked up the CD at Target. I now have 4 different versions of this. Vinyl, cassette, cd, digital. Damn I hope this hits the 1 spot.

The more I listen to this the more I love it.

Pin The Grenade didn't make a huge impression at first, but upon more listens I really really like it.

I get the vibes that this is the perfect album to play through in the car while driving alone.California was great for that, so i'll have to try with this one lol

with every listen of this album i notice new layers and some really smart backing vocals.

besides that, the guitar tone on Mark's verse in No Heart To Speak Of is simply haunting. in fact, the guitar tones they experimented with throughout the entire album are fucking /great/ and i hope this is a trend they continue in the future.

I just remembered I’m getting two CD copies of this album just from buying two tickets to see them back in July.
