I like all of them.

 

Feels like they’ve been promoting this album for forever. I do appreciate song explanations, but that did feel awkward when he had to the explain what he meant by “Happy Days, Happy Days, Happy Days, Happy Days”. Almost as awkward as having to detail his 9 albums to make Nine.

4/4 for the new songs me though, so nothing to really complain about. Looking forward to this coming out in September. Glad it’s 15 tracks and not 10, plus an EP or single left off the album (to be released at a later date).

Sucks Mark doesn’t think he’ll write another good song.

Oh yeah, Simple Creatures II eventually.

Darkside is my easy favorite, Happy Days least favorite, but I still like it a lot and I hope it's still my least favorite when NINE comes out, cause if I like every other song more it will definitely be a great album

 

I always love song explanations even though it takes some of the mystery away. Although 1) he should have had a guitar with him....it would have made it 1000x less awkward. And 2) I wish it would have been more about the music and the process and not solely about the lyrics. Still really cool though.

 

Imagine if Tom did this for/sang I Miss You.
