Than pretty much every other song you've releases since +44? Yes, it is better than that.

 

Seems like a cool intro to a record.... but that's about it. *shrug*

 

i mean... its great, but its way too short.

short is okay if we're talking a 16 song album, but didn't they say they're limiting it to 10? this is a waste if this is only 1 of 10 songs that are on the album

 

They've said it'll be more than 10

They love the key of C. Just fits their ranges so well.

 

Lately their fast, short songs have such great melodies. I always want them to be longer songs!

 

I'm certainly not opposed to lightning quick songs that end too soon, but teasing and releasing this as a single just seems silly to me. I'm sure there's a greater reason for it but.... time will tell I guess.

 

I think they released 'built this pool' the same way

I could be totally wrong but I recall them releasing a short and fast song before California came out

 

Built this Pool and GD have two of the best hooks they’ve had since untitled. That they are a combined 1:05 is a real punch in the face.
