Blink-182 are tracking their new album and Mark’s macOS Dock gives me anxiety. It looks like one song is tentatively given the name “Heaven.”

Wow, I bet Mark still uses Yahoo as his default search engine.

 

It looks like an over the top Winamp skin.

 

I bet Mark uses less than half of what’s on his dock. Yikes haha

 

I get they don’t want to California 2. I liked it, but I’m ok with each album having its own vibe.

As he’s mentioning getting weird though, I can’t help but think that’s what Simple Creatures was an outlet for him to do that. Maybe weird is a broad term for being fearless to try new things.

After the deluxe California release I thought next time Blink were willing to go a little darker.

Maybe it will be both.

Even if it were a true meaning of blink/meets A3, id accept. Like if I could get some dark A3 Matt Skiba blink songs, IM IN

 

@David Parke hahaha this gave me a good laugh.

 

I’ve been happy with the idea of Matt and Blink joining forces from the start.

Blink’s done the darker than usual thing, but that’s Skiba’s comfort zone.

I think Mark, Travis and Matt are all used to experimenting and trying new things with projects so I’m not worried. I guess my only hope is that it does become dance club stuff like FOB did. I like hearing the instruments.

 

I hope they don't use too many plugins and record with real amps and stomp pedals to keep that raw sound.

Definitely. Probably looking at a June/July release.
