Do they usually drop it down live? He sounds super on point vocally in this video, more than I’ve heard in a live video from them in a while. I guess it probably could have been corrected though.
I was mostly think of the Mark Tom and Travis album where it’s pitched higher. It doesn’t bounce the same in my ears at a higher key and usually faster tempo. Here, it sounds like the record in the best way.
The guitar work on White Lies was so much fun! Not that they're of the same genre really, but Bayside's Interrobang is one of the first albums since White Lies that really seemed to lean into fun shredding guitar whenever possible in the way that album did.
great performance even if overdubbed a bit. plus, just great to see Mark feeling well enough to play some songs live (other than chill acoustic).
