    You guys realize tons of arena bands use teleprompters? It’s not all that rare anymore. Pretty sure Fall Out Boy does now too. You’ve got lights flashing in your face, pyro flaring up behind you, 15k people watching, taking photos...yeah, I’d wanna make sure I don’t lose my place either. It’s really not any different than a drummer using a click track.

    Springsteen has openly admitted the use teleprompters, how many songs has that dude written over the years, especially considering hes famous for whipping songs out at random that arent on the setlist. I don't think its a big deal?

    Weezer used teleprompters on a tv show last fall and literally 0 people said anything about it. It just couldn't be less of a big deal.

    So you'd rather have Tom in the band and the band go yet another 2+ years with no shows, no music, etc...yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

    I've always preferred Mark to Tom, but honestly, if the tables had been turned and Mark had shown no interest in the band yet again (via his lawyer), I would tell him to piss off and would want the band to continue without him.
