More than you know was pretty easy to put low. Really the only song I just haven’t enjoyed.

 

Terrified is “Tiny Voices” little brother. I love it. Getting closer to my dream post-hardcore blink-182

- I really want that hardcore EP from Travis
- Already saw a "so what's next for Blink?" thread on Reddit
- Realized today that the leak I downloaded has the pre-release songs in seemingly lower quality than the rest, so looking forward to replacing the leak with the Apple Music version tomorrow. Just need to preserve my play-count

I'd been trying to avoid reddit specifically so I wasn't influenced when finishing my review, but did check it a little bit and saw saw that "what's next" thread and some wild, wild posts.

 

When initially read about the hype for Turpentine, I was really hoping “Hurt” was an interlude leading into it kinda like HAG. Turpentine ripsss though on second listen

That Childhood drum outro is such a cool homage to I’m Lost Without You

 

I listened to this once, and immediately started again from the beginning for another spin. I can’t recall how long it’s been since an album has made me so that. Usually I’ll make a mental note of the songs I liked best on my first run through, and go back to those and just skip around from there.

Blink had no right to still be this good in 2023. What a body of work this is. What an album.

 

lol stuff like “this was a safe comeback album for Tom, hopefully he branches out a bit more next time”.

 

The Anthem Part 3 outro is more epic and uplifting than anything Tom has ever sang/wrote while in AvA.
