I'm so happy! On my second listen now and loving it even more than I did on the first. I couldn't have had a bigger smile while listening to Anthem Part 3.
Early favorites are AP3, Terrified, Bad News, Blink Wave, Turpentine, but so happy with it all.
Weakest songs are easily Edging and Fell In Love, but I don't mind them.

This will be on constant repeat. Looking forward to my day off on Friday. I'm just going to relax and listen to this amazing album!

 

The second blink wave went on I was like “ahh found Jason’s song” lol

 

I kinda wish Fuck Face was longer.

Just finished first listen. Holy shit. They did it. I had goosebumps and teared up a few times throughout as well. Never thought I was going to get an album this good from my favorite band 20 years after their last great album, but here we are. I stand corrected. What a creation they've made. Hook after hook. Great flow. Smooth vocal harmonies. Some influences from their other projects sprinkled throughout. I'm in awe of this. Give me more.

Terrified is a box car racer song I will not be convinced otherwise

 

Man, one great thing about this album is that every time a new song started, I had no idea if it was going to be a Mark song, a Tom song, both, when one guy would pop into the mix, when the other would jump in for a harmony, etc. You could just tell it was a team effort all the way through, and that's why this album has a sound of its own. It sounds like the most collaborative thing they've done outside of Untitled.

 

Hot take: Edging is still really good.

A few months back I was talking to Aaron and he said "Anthem" was the one he was most proud of being able to put his mark on the Blink catalog, so seeing everyone love it makes me super happy.
