Mark Hoppus replied to me twice on Social Media, once to say Empire was his favourite Star Wars and the other to turn down my request to play “Everytime I Look For You”. So I’m buzzing to see that even on a rehearsal list.. Until I remember I live in Scotland.
10 days away from the first tour date and still haven't snagged pit tickets. I've noticed the prices are dropping on resale sites, so I'm thinking I'll be fine waiting until day-of.
Just by putting Online Songs on that list Mark knows he has to play it now They'll probably play it once lol
Sitting here listening to OMT on wax for the first time in a couple of months. Insane how this release is almost 2 years old and still has the staying power as if I just heard it for the first time yesterday. More Than You Know made me come here to type this out because it truly has no business being that good. When we got the emotional music video for One More Time, it kicked me right in my emotional nuts. And then we go right into the broken piano leading into the face melting riff of MTYK. When I heard this song the first time, I truly was in disbelief in how good it was. I almost have this weird feeling like we almost don’t “deserve” to have this song or any of the harder hitting songs from OMT (Anthem 3, Turpentine). It’s a weird feeling, and I’m using the wrong word there to describe it in “undeserving”, but hearing some of these songs is still mind-blowing knowing they still have this type of power in them. So stoked for whatever they come up with next.
Anthem Part 3, Turpentine, MTYK are songs I never expected out of Blink. Truly exceptional tracks in their vast discography.
Hi The JMan, More Thank You Know is a complete and total skip. The speed at which my hands move to the next button is probably the fastest my body has ever moved. They say your first is always a special memory, so happy it could be me :)
I was super happy to hear More Than You Know and Turpentine live last weekend. Those are some all-time-great blink songs for me. Can't Go Back was great live, as well (even though not many people around me seemed to know it lol)
More Than You Know would be great to hear live because it would present the perfect opportunity to go get a new beer.
and then karma will trip your ass and you'll shatter both knees and have to miss the rest of the show.
