I remember being a little disappointed when we found out that the BCR song on One More Time wasn't going to be "Dance With Me" after seeing it on the tracklist and knowing the live versions of BCR's "Dance With Me", but I can say with certainty that I'm happy that one didn't make it and that we got Terrified instead and that OMT's "Dance With Me" is what it is. Regardless, this YouTube account has been pumping out some cool AI takes on tracks: BCR Dance With Me blink A Letter to Elise
If I don't listen to this album once a week, I get the itch for it. It has definitely taken over, playability-wise, compared to Nine. Nine I kept wanting to listen to over and over but OMT has so much more staying power. Top 4 album if not Top 3 depending on how I'm feeling that day.
Definitely would with the Wasting Time one. I had no attachment to the original tho, Cheshire sounds like ass.
Lmao yeah that box car song is terrible. It's like a zombie Tom is dying to just sing Feeling This over lifeless music.
The AI stuff killed Greg’s family. I’ve actually gone ahead and replaced my Apple Music OMT album with “OMT But With Tom Vocals from 2004?!!!!”
3 of my 4 immediate family members are dead. So, Cool. Thanks for bringing that up. Anyway, I very specifically only mentioned the AI itself and not anyone here. Cause, trying to not be a dick, sometimes. But now I have no problem saying you can also fuck all the way off with that AI shit.
Between Alex Melton, Youtube losers remixing and remastering, and now AI, i’ve had my fill of “what if” scenarios when it comes to blink and music in general.
My whole YouTube algorithm lately is just “Blink 182 AI” and “Green Day Mixed in the style of (other album) and both never sound even a quarter as good as the comments on the videos would like you to believe
Mine was studio clips of songs. Like the +44 demos for LP2 and then that 2004 blink soundcheck “demo” that was just them warming up.
