Not gonna be able to catch up on this thread, but I'm guessing there are a lot of rave reviews? I absolutely love this album! Dare i say, it might e my favorite? It's definitely winning points seeing the gang back together and so happy and back to their old selves. But i like every single song on here, and LOVE more than half of them. So stoked to hear One More Time on the radio yesterday. Oh, yeah, and Edging over the summer. Gotta say, that wasn't really a fave, but it's growing on me and, i mean, the hype is just fun. Yeah, i mean it's still not super great, lol, but fun enough. Childhood though, is just a masterpiece. Played it like 10 times in a row the other night! And other faves include, More than you know, Terrified, and Turpentine is funny fun.
I played OMT incessantly when it first came out and sort of had my fill. Now it’s been a minute since I’ve listened and I’m ready to rock out to it again. I noticed that Turpentine and When We Were Young are the two songs that just jump out in my brain at random times.
Just realized in the first verse of SEE YOU there’s a line “After Midnight you still want me around, and I’m Always Down.” Nice little nod to three classics
careful, Reddit told me “those are just words” and there’s no way that’s a reference to three of their popular songs
One More Time was named in honor of Korn's One More Time from the album Untouchables, which I thought was a really nice thing for Blink-182 to do.
Seems like I have a new song stuck in yead every morning. Today is Bad News... yesterday was Childhood... god I love this album.
I say this in no way to dunk on the song or suggest it’s bad in any way, but I’ve found myself skipping Edging every time during a full playthrough. I just listened to it way too many times in the last year to not just want to skip to the next track lol
I've been skipping "Edging" and "One More Time" if I'm just wanting to listen to bangers and stuff I'm not as familiar with, rather than wanting to actually listen through the album in the full.
And at Modern Rock, Columbia’s Lisa Sonkin gets a fourth week at #1 with blink-182’s smash hit “ONE MORE TIME.” ~20,600 sold last week.
Each week since the album has come out I've had a new "song of the week" that I can't stop listening to and get out of my head Week 1: Blink Wave Week 2: Terrified Week 3 (this week): Fell in Love
I've been doing a guitar playthrough of the album most nights just for fun. 'Turpentine", "Bad News" and "Childhood" are probably the most fun to jam along to, all for completely different reasons.
