after today...this is going to be a LONG month

 

Really like More Than You Know. It feels like an evolution of something like Stockholm Syndrome. It’s fast and quite experimental, and even though at first I found the chorus a little underwhelming, I found myself singing it when it finished.

Feels like this is going to be an eclectic album.

 

Kinda mid on the title track, but the video is really nice. Never thought that they were a great ballad band. LOVE More Than You Know.

 

I was telling someone today it reminded me of the perfect Untitled/California melding. Awesome tune. Love hearing the Mark/Tom interplay within each of these songs.

 

One More Time is pretty simple as a song but the honesty there in singing those words to each other, it's just powerful stuff. I can't think of a band that honestly addresses their past mistakes to each other in that direct a way.

 

OMT is so much better after watching the music video too, I love all the references to the past

 

Woah, is Travis using double pedal during the chorus of MTYK? If so, that’s a first (I think)

 

Both these new songs are so good and everything I could have hoped for with Tom’s return. The video made me way too emotional haha

I wonder if One More Time a song they wrote in the studio or did Tom bring it to Mark and Travis at the very beginning of the "reunion"? Definitely reads like his apology to them/the fans.

The pre chorus in MTYK is straight up BCR.

 

I don't mean this as any slander whatsoever because I absolutely adore both songs, but One More Time gives me vibes from that episode of SpongeBob where him and Mr. Krabs are singing "this grill is not a home"

 

MTYK guitar sounds on the pre-chorus and instrumental chorus are just shredders. Been waiting years for this to come back.

Lmao I was thinking that exactly yesterday while listening to that clip of Mark and Tom singing together “I miss you, took time but I admit it,(etc)”

 

It's been sourced in these forums in the past, it's just annoying to try and find it again over thousands of pages since then

 

simply search his name in the music accountability thread and even the band thread and you'll find plenty. we dont need to do research for you.

 

i like OMT but i mean MTYK is so god damn awesome, never thought we'd hear blink like this again

 

Honestly Paramore was the only other band that I thought of, but even in that case I feel Tom is even more direct here. But you're right!

 

Title track is fine, but the video is so awesome. Gave me chills.

More Than You Know is greaaaaaat. Man, this is gonna be fun.
