I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the two songs from the album I don’t love both have the same co-writer. Just not a fan of Tedder.
Andrew Goldstein is a co-writer on both bonus tracks and he’s a friend of a friend. Absolutely wild to see him credited. I need to talk to him about this, ha. Also, how many songs from OMT can we realistically expect to hear on this new tour? Originally I was thinking 7, but with a 27 song set, would 10 new songs be out of the question? I think after a week with this album, More Than You Know is reigning supreme as my favorite. I am truly hoping to witness that one live and have the double-bass burst through my ribcage.
Speaking of Feldy, we didn’t see any interactions between him & blink during When We Were Young did we?
Just being honest here as the Dude Ranch - TOYPAJ era is what pulled me into blink fandom. Untitled is special to many and considered blink’s masterpiece. For me, I think it’s a great album and I have so many rad memories with it, but I never felt as connected to it the way I feel connected to the albums before it. Now, One More Time already does more for me than Untitled ever did. I think it’s because I see how this album can fit right between TOYPAJ and Untitled. The new album just has it all for someone like me. The best parts of what I loved about Dude Ranch - TOYPAJ and the best parts of the Untitled era. I think the boys did a fantastic job on this new album all around.
funny story, this was back in 2015 or 16, whenever they did their co-headliner with senses fail, they shared a story about how they had just gotten spotify in canada or something like that and it showed their one republic cover was a most played song so they had been playing it on that tour, when they played it at my date, absolutely no one gave a fuck, everyone was talking over it, like no one cared. i cant think of anything else now from that cover. play an original , that song was so who cares by 2015 LOL
