The amount of jealousy I have for those that got to meet the band and get a signed vinyl is not healthy. I really don’t understand why they didn’t offer a signed option during preorders. I’ve already met the band, but would love to have it signed. Same goes for those signed posters and the test pressing. I want it all!!!
apparently the credits to these new songs don’t have Mark or Tom at all. Sad if true. But like there’s no way Tom didn’t write “it’s the witching of your hour the drugs that you devour”
I just noticed this too. Wonder if the band had the services pull the Atmos version so it can be fixed? Glad I wasn't the only one noticing Mark's missing vocals on Childhood. No idea how that got past review. Hope it comes back. There's some cool sounds in the Atmos mix.
Hm I've already played this album so much that it'll take a bit for me to adjust to the new songs being on it. Not sure if I'll make that decision to include them on my album yet, although knowing myself it'll bother me if I don't See You is definitely the better between the two and I actually think it does sound good right before Childhood. Cut Me Off sounds more like a mid-album song to me though EDIT: I put Cut Me Off between When We Were Young and Edging and left See You as the penultimate song before Childhood and this flows quite nicely, I'd recommend it
Most obvious parts that come to mind are STFTK, Please Take Me Home (specially verse) or bridge of Give Me One Good Reason.
Both songs rule so fucking hard. Cut Me Off gives me early Wavves vibes mixed with blink, See You is just awesome fucking song with awesome melodies and I LOVE the production I bought two copies two days ago. Still not received anything hahahah. I’m from EU so… Thank G-d they released it thru YTB
I like the songs, but I’m deleting them. They very much sound like bonus tracks, and that’s what I am considering them.
Blink putting deluxe edition tracks within the original track list bothers me nearly as much as people who resequence and cut songs from albums. Sorry everyone!
I'm just going to keep blabbing. A lot of people have been saying that the Tom heaviness on this album is making up for the last two albums that Tom wasn't on. But when you think about it, Mark was hardly on the last two albums plus DED. I don't know. I was happy when Tom left the second time because it meant that we could get more Mark. And then we got more Mark in California and Nine. So now that Mark has been pushed to the background, it's leaving another bad taste in my mouth like before. I feel like I can forgive this album just because Tom was out of the band for so long. But if the next album is like this then .... there's not just no excuse. I don't know why this pisses me off so much, but it does. I was just starting to get used to the Tom heaviness on the album and now we have two more Tom heavy songs. Damn....
People find so many weird things to get worked up about. Sometimes I’m glad I’m ignorant of music production.
