feldy and all the cowriters ruined those two albums, over produced has been pop punk. why go backwards progressively as well? i felt bad for mark back then, he is the only one who needs blink. tom and travis have shown they don't at the end of the day.

I don’t hear any Box Car on “Neighborhoods.” Most of the Tom stuff sounds like AVA leftovers, if anything.

I mean what would they really talk about regarding Scott in the Zane interview? This wasn’t a documentary about the band so there was really no reason to talk about him in depth. I’m sure Matt won’t be mentioned again on follow up album roll out interviews.

Neighborhoods is missing so much of the energy and care present on Nine and OMT. Tom's voice is a great example for comparison between Neighborhoods and OMT. So much energy there. Neighborhoods has great song ideas, but leaves a lot to be desired at the end of the day for me.

    OMT > Nine > Neighbs > Cali

There are cowriters on this album too.

good or not, at least they wrote it on their own and didn't need a billion cowriters.

Poor Mark. I felt so bad for him as well with his Grammy-nominated, number one album with a number one song on it. So sad to see how far he fell smh.

Yeah, Scott was in the band for even a shorter period than Matt was. And it was like 25 years ago, before they had a hit song. Seems like a weird thing that they would be expected to address in 2023.

One More Time has just as many co-writers on it. And lets be real, Jerry Finn would've had a co-write credit on Enema-TOYPAJ-Untitled if the politics of that weren't different back in the early aughts.

look at ALL the help he needed to get there, that grammy nom was because they were running out of ideas for rock band anyways, look at who they lost to.. cage the fucking elephant lol

But what about trap beats? Is this 100% pure uncut rock?

Why do you have to word it as "needing help" vs. "being open to collaborating with other people"? lol

Can't believe Tom was so desperate for commercial success that he had to request Mark and Travis's help because he didn't know how to be successful on his own. Poor guy.

These songs would not sound or be played the way they are now if written and recorded then. There is a fundamental difference in how these songs were written.

They play a whole two songs, sometimes one, off Neighorboods, so by that logic that isn’t a blink record. Very dumb, tired take

I recently unblocked everyone I ever blocked. Wade did make a random ass personal attack on me recently. I don’t know why. Was out of nowhere. I’m still in my “don’t feel like blocking mindset,” but this bit today is bizarre.

Both the bonus songs really grew on me. I thought they were pretty good yesterday, See You more so. They do sound different and I can see why they aren't on he album, but yeah kinda have fallen in love with them too. Can't have enough blink

Dammit was def. the first big radio hit, it wasn't as massive a WMAA or ATST but they def. had a "hit" with Scott in the band.

I think it’s impossible not to hear Boxcar on Neighborhoods or OMT. If you pay attention you can hear it even in TOYPAJ. Is Tom’s style and is all over the place in his albums. AVA too.

It was in “Can’t Hardly Wait” too - a soundtrack of nothing but bangers.
