Anthem Part 3 is just an absolute shitkicker of an opener, the self-referential intro and all. Love it.
Wow my bad lol thank you! I don’t know anything about it or looked it up before so I was just curious.

Califnoria and nine aren't blink to me. no tom, no care. it also shows that the band because they barely play anything off those records now.
I must confess... I stopped caring and following the band when they replaced Tom with Matt. Blink-182 was more than just the music for me when I got into the band. Watching "Big Day Out" on YouTube when I was first getting into them, something clicked... Any other band, you could replace the drummer, the bassist, the guitarist, even the vocalist sometimes, and I wouldn't care. Blink on the other hand is one of those bands where the chemistry of the group is what matters to me (and a missing (or replaced part)* just doesn't really work for me). As dumb/silly as it sounds, I wanted to be friends with these guys when I was a teen (now as a 31 year, I realize how silly I was, but I was 14-16 when I got into them thinking this). It also doesn't help that I'm more of a Tom fan than a Mark fan (heck, blink got me into music and I spent a good chunk of my teen/early adult years trying to sing like Tom). That being said though... (and I will repeat myself) the new album did make me take the rose tinted glasses off and see that maybe Neighborhoods wasn't that great of an album (like I said that album has a track or two I skip, while this one doesn't) I am thankful for the experience Neighborhoods/DED era gave me though. Everyone else my age had their favorite bands putting out new material, but by the time I got into blink they had split up into two groups. I was thankful for what Tom, Mark and Travis gave us with Neighborhoods (even though they could have done better). *I do want to specify that I do pay my respects to Scott... Just blink really found themselves with Travis and this new Zane Lowe interview really helps highlight how much Travis became the glue that holds things together in this band.
I will say... It's a bit messed up the Scott erasure the band is doing these days from Tom's instagram post to the fact they danced around the topic of Scott in the Zane Lowe interview.
Lol, my bad. I must have misunderstood an earlier post, it made me think you didn't buy this on vinyl for some reason..
Just noticed that on the deluxe clean edition page, they changed the name of "Fuck Face" from "F*ck Face" to "You Talk Too Much (Shut Up)". I wonder if that's why people were having trouble with downloads missing that song specifically? Also, what's the deal with the clean edition? Just beeps or silenced cursing parts? Any fairly big changes, or lyric changes?
That explains why the one reviewer pointed out the song title that way... I was confused where they were coming up with "You Talk To Much (Shut Up)" I tried to look it up when the review came up and was getting links to a Run DMC song.
I hear some Box Car DNA sprinkled throughout Neighborhoods, I don’t think it would’ve raised eyebrows if they revived TERRIFIED for that album. It has 5 or 6 Tom/Mark songs and DED had 4, so I don’t necessarily see MTYK being a Tom only song if it were done back then. Granted it wouldn’t have sounded as good due to the fact that the production is much better on this album.
