knowing something will be available for free is not the same as thinking youre entitled to it for free
Cut Me Off: Bassline in the verses rule. I think Tom is more effective at being pop-leaning without it feeling contrived in the blink world. lol at that raw cowbell sound. See You: Big AVA meets NINE vibes. Hurt was a better nod on the album to AVA than this one. Cool to hear this one. My preferred song between the two we got. Both are good B sides. They do not belong on the album. The only song I thought of as a potential bonus song rather than song on the album was "Other Side." It is a killer song and an awesome nod to their friend but it was the only one I thought "could have lived as a killer bonus song in the first listen. After hearing these two I think that song belongs on the album comparatively to these two. IMO Out of My Head was a stronger bonus song than these two.
for me, someone frustrated with the "loudness" of the regular Spotify stream (and as a non-Apple Music subscriber, where there's Atmos/lossless available), $5 for the full-ass album FLAC is exactly what I wanted.
Are you US based? They were reporting issues for downloads outside the US. If not I'm unsure, my download link was immediate.
forever perceiving the artistic orange splatter on the album artwork as smudges on my phone. lmao got me when I looked at the digital track list
Both songs are pretty good, I really love the chorus of "Cut Me Off". That said, probably wouldn't put them over anything on the actual album. Still a lot of fun to have so I'm grateful they were released, but they sort of exist in the same realm as "Out Of My Head" for me. Not bad, but not really that remarkable and also don't really fit the vibe of the rest of the album IMO.
Got my red/clear splatter vinyl on Monday and listened a couple times. The only song on it that's completely screwed up is One More Time (which is a bummer), but as long as my incoming Mark variant is better with that song, I'll be happy.
(cue “30 for 30” music) What if I told you that in the span of just five weeks, blink-182 released 4 singles, the 16-song banger of an album AND 2 bonus tracks?! edit: and announced another tour
Definitely the same as the verses of "Down". Even adds in the E Major at the end like "Down" does for the pre-chorus (though "See You" has a quick F# in there after the E)
