$90 before fees for the cheapest Milwaukee seats...I'll just try and see them at Lolla (assuming they are on the lineup).
Obviously this was an exception, but Olivia Rodrigo sold out during presale. I don’t think there were any general sales.
im assuming they are since there is no chicago but the cities around the usual lolla dates are all midwest states
What am I missing with Piece The Veils popularity? I remember them having a couple albums people liked despite the singer maybe having the worst scene voice there is.... But I haven't even heard or thought of them in over 10 years at least, I had no idea they stayed popular or even were still together
I don't think thats true anymore. I got in exactly at 10am for tickets (surprisingly I didn't have to wait in a queue) and the venue map looked like every seat was available. Now a couple hours later venue looks more than half sold.
they got back together not long ago, dropped a new album, one of their songs i heard did really well for being on tiktok, i think they had the mcr effect where they were still popular while they were inactive ya know? so they came back, still pretty big. it was just a hiatus, they never really officially broke up this was their crowd last year at WWWY
I honestly had never listened to them until earlier this year when they announced that summer tour with The Used. But looking at their touring history it looks like they hadn't played NYC since 2016. Maybe their popularity has to due with their lack of touring? They're decent from what I've listened to recently. Nothing floored me but also didn't sound terrible like others make them out to be. Personally I'd much rather sit through this than twenty one pilots lol
Important context - they had a hiatus because their drummer (Vic's brother) was accused of having inappropriate conduct with underage girls
Ticket secured! $257 after fees for GA Stoked to walk 5 minutes to the venue and get there hours too early to ensure that I get as close to the front as possible, so I can finally see my favorite band up fucking close. And yes, I've already decided that I will be on Mark's side.
ah wasn't aware that happened prior, i thought it happened during their break. thats when i heard about it.
I saw Mark’s manager say only 8% of tickets were held back for Philly. Not sure if that number applies to other dates or how it works city by city
LOL didnt know 21P was still a thing but me neither, ptv blows them away musically and energy! i saw them direct support last year opening for i prevail and they blew it away! it was their comeback tour and they nailed it. i heard at the milwaukee show that i didnt go to that over half the crowd left after their set and didnt stay for i prevail haha im glad they played this one though, the ultimate ripper! reminded me of old rufio mixed with their style. i wish the new album had more stuff like this but ah well, it was nice to hear new music from them in general!
I was willing to shell out a decent chunk for VIP at Fenway, but there was nothing worth the exorbitant price. Not a single ticket available in the center Turf A sections. VIP early entry pit was over $200 more than regular pit, and regular pit was pretty easily accessible. Just wasn't worth it. Ended up with a regular pit ticket for $350 after fees.
Seeing these ticket prices I feel so lucky that I saw their first show back with Tom from the very front row basically for free because I was already going to the festival
I was gonna say after sitting with this for a few days it’s almost hilarious how much worse edging is than everything else on the album. Doubly funny because it was the first taste we got.
Matches with what Tom said about him and Travis doing it a few years ago when he was specifically asked if it was an old song from the vault or a new one Edit: oh this video too, thought it was part of the compilation video. https://www.reddit.com/r/Blink182/s/5PvDaFO8Q8 Also Aaron confirmed it's "We'll go" not Welcome. Lol all these lyric videos and sheets being so wrong are annoying the hell out of me
Far from it...having anxiety now because I know I can't afford it. Credit cards are dangerous kids. Only purchased additional ones because they were better seats and I figured I could sell them to friends or re-sale down the line...
Technically he "stepped away from the band", but he's still Vic's brother and they've never publicly condemned what he did, so they still face criticism for not doing more to distance themselves from him.
Pierce The Veil was direct support on I Prevail's headliner last year playing 3k-6k cap rooms. There were videos of half of the crowd leaving after PTV almost every night, the walkout was insane. They always drew, but they're bigger than ever now I'd say
