As someone who hasn't been to a show since Cali came out in 2016, are all tickets on an app on your phone now?
Just listened to my vinyl for the first time, it sounds great! I got the Spotify smoke variant (I think, lol.)
Haven’t seen them play since 2002 on the Pop Disaster Tour, really itching to see them again. I met my wife at that 2002 show, so it would be really cool to take our daughters to a blink concert
TERRIFIED floors me every time I hear it. I cannot believe this song exists. I think it’s the new “Obvious”.
I remember when I first heard Edging I loved that song so much...but it'll probably end up being in the bottom of half of ranking the songs on this album. I'm still so obsessed with Blink Wave right now. On another note I want to inject the chorus of Terrified into my veins.
That reviewer doesn't want to have fun. A lot of correct factual observations, but twisting it all into this narrative that the band is played out and grasping at straws, instead of lovingly threading together their history (dick jokes and all) into something new, is just kind of expected and boring. The album is pretty damn good.
That they’re taking it even as something that should be reviewed cracks me up. Glad it matters enough now. (Maybe it’ll be another they have to delete and “revisit” in 20 years.) It reads like someone got assigned the review on Friday and had a weekend to come up with why it’s only ok cause they’re Pitchfork. Line by line exactly as expected heh. Cold and never telling me how the music makes the author feel.
Super glad they're playing the basketball arena here again and not a stadium I'll 100% be there again
