I tried ranking the songs with the lil ranker tool til I got the Bad News vs. Blink Wave matchup and nope'd right outta there. can't do it.
Why are we discussing this album in the OMT thread literally ONE day after it came out This is actual sinning
That cornball intro/post-chorus melody does the song no favors, but Fell In Love really does feel like the bridge between First Date and Always
Idk feels like a solid week to reevaluate my entire relationship with Blink as they embark on the next chapter lol
That quiet guitar bit before the climax of anthem part 3…it’s such a weird timing and I can’t find the tempo before Tom says “It’s my…”
Did anyone get the lenticular version from Blood Records? Was it not shrink wrapped? Surprised it seemed to come without any and a bit damaged as a result..
Green Day have 2 albums that sold more than any blink album, and they came out either side of Blink's original 'prime' run. They have 30m monthly streams v 20m (on spotify). They are in another league live. I don't think it sucks to be them at all. That said this blink album has the creative energy and passion that Green Day have lacked/avoided for a long time and I hope it can provide some inspiration for Green Day moving forward.
We are in the people doing “I turned down the drums on the songs” posting stage of Reddit now. Might be my least favorite modern trend.
How would one even do that if they wanted to lol Also imagine turning down the only technically talented musician in the band?
I'm so confused by the complaints that Travis's drums are too loud and that you can barely hear their voices. Seems well balanced to me. I just don't like how the instruments sound computer generated, but that's a separate discussion
