These are the ones that all indie stores will be getting (US, EU, UK). So you might see these in your local shops!
It’s definitely the vinyl artwork, but why wouldn’t they just upload it as the digital artwork right away? Doesn’t make much sense lol Also, I ask again, why is the pink cover the only one that doesn’t say the title?
Yeah, I totally think the inconsistency in all of the artworks is intentional and official. Including the digital artwork.
Maybe the only good thing Reddit has ever done, but... collaborators: https://www.reddit.com/r/Blink182/comments/16mnr59/new_album_to_feature_robert_smith/ Looks to be a Cure interpolation on "Fell In Love" – plus, a Tim Armstrong credit on "Fuck Face"?
Would love to have a Robert Smith feature again if it's more than just writing collab. Seems like they really are trying to push the Untitled themes here.
I've been getting a TOYPAJ meets Untitled vibe since we started getting hints of the album in August. It really feels to me like something that might fit in right between them.
The Robert Smith bit could also be that they incorporated lyrics of a Cure song so they credited him for it. We shall see! I'd love to hear Bob on another Blink song though.
Yeah the Robert Smith credit I'd bet on just being an interpolation. Wouldn't be mad if he was actually involved either of course
I don’t need to hear Robert Smith on another blink song. I’m not against guest vocalists, but I’m set. All Of This was more than enough. I’d prefer just Mark and Tom, and I guess Travis now.
I stated my personal preference in my other post on what singers I’d like on the album. Smith would bother me because he was used so extensively in All of This to the point I don’t care much for it. Like, there’s nothing wrong with it. I just don’t put on a blink album for that. It’s also a very long song by blink standards. For me (and only me haha), I think the way Yellowcard used Chris from Dashboard in their EP was sick. He sang a lot of it, but it was supporting alongside Ryan. Them together sounded so great. I know I am weird on this. It truly should not matter. But for me it does. I just kind of check out during All of This. I always thought the song should have been its own separate thing. But having Easy Target segue into it kind of makes it have to be on the album. That transition is cool. But I just tune out at some point in the song.
I've been listening to a lot of Rancid and Transplants lately, so I'm prepped for something Tim related
