When I was hanging out in the SNL thread last week as the episode aired my wife went “are you talking about this with your internet people” and I was like “haha, yes” and she goes “what are you like on the internet? I wonder how you interact with people or how they think of you” and I was so shook with the horror of her ever interacting with this forum that I froze and promptly blurted out “no! fuck you!” which ironically is how I act on here occasionally
You should delete your download and re-download it. Every track is available in Atmos. Apple Music is weird about prerelease-to-final versions of albums with Atmos tracks.
It's still too early for me to give any "final" thoughts on this album... with one exception: In terms of the Mark/Tom/Travis-era albums, this one delivers Mark's best work since TOYPAJ. I won't be taking any questions at this time.
I love it too! After hearing it I kind of expect Story of a Lonely Guy or Reckless Abandon, is such a TOYPAJ song.
Yup. I could have sworn it was all Atmos for me as well when I checked it early this morning. But now the album displays as Lossless.
I can’t pick a top 3. Yesterday anthem3 wasn’t even registering for me but today I can’t stop listening to it (especially from 2mins on). Same for dance with me and the other singles. My brain won’t dare let me compare it to untitled album but my gosh it’s good.
Enjoyed most of the album but not nearly as into it as others it seems. Still really cool to be listening to new blink at 37.
i never thought i'd say this and i want to fight myself but other than a handful of fucking great songs / moments on this record i'm listening to nine now and i prefer this record and i don't even listen to it anymore. there's just more room for the songs to breathe or something. i'm not even a skiba fan which makes it worse.
I assumed so as well. But the response it’s getting on here…it’s likely the favorite outside of the singles.
I historically prefer Tom led songs, but there’s something to be said for that penultimate Mark led song. Like clockwork, it’s always there and it always hits
If next week tbs is getting an overwhelmingly positive response for their album…imma go into the thread and shit on it bc some people just like to see the world burn.
I want to live inside that hook on Blink Wave. especially the way Tom sings "midnight black and white tattoos", man. could loop that shit forever
I like a lot of this. By far, the most cohesive they’ve sounded since “Untitled.” I think “Terrified” is one of the weaker because it sounds you basically smashed two Box Car Racer songs together (not a bad thing), but it feels like I’ve pretty much heard it before.
