Now that my review is queued up, I looked at some other reviews, here's what I've seen so far:

Most feel like light first listen passes describing broad strokes of the album. (That Times review specifically sucks though.)

 

Decided to hold off on listening to the leak as I’m doing a blink-verse music video countdown to 12 eastern. 90 minutes to go!

 

Do we know for sure we can start streaming at midnight and not something dumb like 4am?

 

Should be up on most platforms like Apple Music at 9pm pt

 

I’ll listen tomorrow after a good nights sleep

My wife learned this album opens with Anthem Part 3, so she asked me to play her the first 2 parts back to back. I knew I married her for a reason.

 

My Mark vinyl will be here tomorrow

 

I dont hear any NINE in the new album. Maybe a little California.

My take is that the fact you have Mark doing vocals in the same song as Tom makes the Tom parts so much more impactful than just an AvA song.

Likewise Tom provides an interesting dynamic that delivers so much more than the Mark/Skiba dynamic.

They compliment each other so well. It's just beautiful to my ears.

 

Tomorrow’s gonna be a long, busy day for me at work so I’m not staying up to listen, but knowing this is waiting for me at the end of it will be what gets me through the day. Super excited.

NO ONE GAVE A FUCK THAT YOU DIED!!!!

 

When I told my girlfriend that there’s an Anthem Part 3 on the album, she put it in her calendar to listen to the first two on her way to work tomorrow, then we’re going to listen to the new album in the car on the way back to my hometown tomorrow afternoon.

 

None of these review are doing a good job at all capturing why blink is such a pivotal band in the punk scene - really missing a lot of context as to why this record is so important in 2023

 

Do we know anyone that may be able to add that context

 

Which song has Tim Armstrong

 

I thought the Kerrang! and RS reviews were pretty good - very positive anyway.
